Heritage Walk in Houghton Hall Park

Come to Houghton Hall Park to enjoy a leisurely walk whilst learning about the history of the park dating back to the 17th Century, this walk will be led by a member of the Houghton Regis Heritage Society. You will also be able to see the development and progress that has occurred throughout the park, including the restored Kitchen Garden, Formal Gardens and the Visitor Centre. The walk will be approximately an hour, pending stops for viewing. The meeting point is in Houghton Hall Park Visitor Centre foyer at 11am.

Parking: Please use Houghton Hall Park Visitor Centre car park on Park Road North (free for a maximum of 3 hours). Dogs are welcome in the Park and Visitor Centre, but owners must take responsibility at all times for their pets and nuisance dogs will be reported. All dogs must be kept on a lead whilst in the Visitor Centre.

Public transport: Nearest bus stops are Bedford Square (Route A – Dunstable/Luton) or Morrison’s Supermarket (Route A or E - Toddington/Luton). Toilets and refreshments: In the Visitor Centre are toilets including an accessible toilet, there is also a café with a varied menu of food and drink to enjoy.
