Experience Halloween like never before with an evening in Houghton Hall Park!

Have a 'hoot' in our witches hollow- filled with 'creepy' crawlies and creatures of the night, a fun animal experience- with a Halloween twist!*

Follow the spooktacular trail and find all of the 'Creatures of the Night'…but beware, it is Halloween after all! Mwahaha!

This family fun trail includes spooky Halloween decorations, hidden nature facts and a small prize once completed.

Enter our pumpkin competition, bring your carved pumpkins to the park on Friday 28th October, we will light them up on Halloween and display them around the event area to create a pumpkin spectacular! Vote for your favourite pumpkin, the one with the most votes will win a prize!

Feeling a bit peckish? The Visitors Centre café will be open serving you some Halloween specials!

Important Information

Our Halloween evening will take place in the park between 4pm and 7pm on Sunday 30th October, the event is aimed at under 10s, fancy dress is welcome, all children must be accompanied by an adult, the park will be dark so please bring a torch if you have one (or use your phone).

Walk to the park if you can as our parking is limited.

Tickets are £5 per child which includes the trail and witches hollow, they must be booked in advance on our website and are non-refundable unless we cancel the event.

A time slot needs to be booked for the witches hollow, please ensure you come at the time booked, we cannot guarantee a space if you are late.

The trail can be completed anytime between 4pm and 6.45pm.

*Teaching Talons will be attending the event with the animals, there will be an opportunity to hold an owl for an extra cost of £3 per person or two for £5.
