Meet the gardener who is growing stories, listen to the storyteller who’s telling tales, then get creative with some story themed crafts. Suitable for children between 3 and 10 (all children must be accompanied by an adult)
Our story garden is based in the kitchen garden and has been created by our Community Gardener Jenny along with local craft groups who have designed and made the props. Books included in the garden are Peter Rabbit, Wizard of Oz, Hungry Caterpillar, Scarecrows Wedding, Cinderella, Stickman, Enormous Turnip, Jack & the Beanstalk and Alice in Wonderland.
The Activity will take place on the following dates and times:-
24th July Jack & the Beanstalk
7th August Caterpillar and creepy crawly stories
21st August Rabbit tales
10.30am to 12pm
Cost £3.50 per child
Tickets are available at the café in the Visitors Centre and Houghton Regis Library - cash payments only, must be booked in advance.
